Upright
11. Justice

Order in the court.
Reversed
If you couldn’t guess it from the image of the judge holding a sword and scales, you could guess it from the fact that Justice is associated with the air element. This card is about a decision, the legal system, or being put in the position of the judge. It is a card that requires the clarity of mind associated with the sword the judge is holding and the air element of the card. It shows a need to embody the qualities of honesty and fairness, and it shows the influence of logical, well-considered thoughts. When Justice is drawn upright, what is fair will feel fair.
When it is reversed, someone is being a bad judge. Someone may be dishonest with themselves, or producing unfair actions or decisions. Alternatively, you might just think the judge is being unfair when the decisions are actually fair. In either case, there may be a need for the querent to be a good judge: honest and introspective enough to know what fair is.
