Pentacles are a suit about stability, and the Six of Pentacles shows the kind of stability from which generosity comes naturally. This is a card showing the balanced flow of generosity or gifts, where you should give of yourself as the benefactor or accept help as the recipient. The generosity pictured here is wisely executed— the benefactor is giving people what they are willing to receive. This card indicates the presence of this kind of generosity, whether you are giving or receiving. It may even be life in general that is giving to you, rather than a person.

When reversed, we see the disruption of this stability. We may be challenged to give too much, or we may be unwilling to receive. Or, as the recipient, we may not see what we are being given.
