The Two of Swords shows a blindfolded figure resting a sword on each shoulder. This is the card of stalemate. Usually, it represents a choice between two equally bad options; the querent is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Inner turmoil abounds, but there is also big potential for growth. This card brings the need for Sword energy (directness of thought) on two things.
When reversed, the blindness and upset of the figure is prominent. This is now the card of being blind to manipulation, lacking balance, or making an incorrect decision when stuck in a stalemate. The card’s call to action is for clarity of thought in order to resolve the situation.
