The Ten of Wands

“You are Overburdened and You Cannot Run”
Reversed
Sometimes, we take on too much, and at the extreme of this, it’s the Ten of Wands. The person on this card has been given so many wands to carry that they cannot see where they’re going. This card signifies being overburdened to the point that you’ve lost sight of the goal or motivation for what you’re carrying. This might be a self-imposed burden, where the expectations you take on from others override your own needs. You may have had a plan for your trajectory originally, but now you’ve lost control. You need to offload, delegate, or say no. You need to focus on yourself.
When reversed, the meaning is much the same, except the card is more urgent in its messaging. This is a last chance for you to change your ways before phsyical or emotional collapse. Put down the sticks. Decide if you are going to throw them in front of you (re-organizing or shifting the burden) or behind you (abandoning the old way entirely). Don’t be obstinate; if you’re feeling backed into a corner, simply take a beat and re-evaluate.
